This was likely to be my absolute FAVORITE childhood movie...even though there are a few scenes that can make ANYONE cry...
I'll never figure out why I cannot refuse to watch this.

Oh, this brings back so many memories. I always adored the Neverending story as a kid. To this day, I still watch that movie with the same wonderment I did when I was a child.

It was one of my favourite books long time. There also is a book about the making of the movie with lot of storyboard and concept drawings by Ul de Rico. He is for sure one of the best illustrators ever.
